|ZSB||The Central Study Orientation and Counselling Centre (ZSB) of the TU Darmstadt is the primary contact and counselling centre at the TU Darmstadt for prospective students and students with study-related concerns such as study decisions, planning and organisation as well as for problematic or critical courses of study.|
|lnternational Admission||International admission provides information to foreign and German applicants with foreign certificates regarding application, admission and enrolment.|
|Studierendenwerk Darmstadt||The Studierendenwerk Darmstadt supports the students of the TU Darmstadt and the Hochschule Darmstadt in their social, economic and health concerns. They are in charge of student finance (BAföG) as well as advising students in various situations in life. There is a social and legal counselling centre as well as a psychotherapeutic counselling centre.|
|AStA||The General Student Committee (AStA) of the TU Darmstadt is the elected representative of the student body. It represents the interests of students before the university management and the state government of Hesse and advises students in all social matters. There is BAföG, social, legal and foreigner advice.|
|Complaint and Improvement Management at TU Darmstadt||At the TU Darmstadt, students can complain about everything that directly affects their studies and teaching at the TU: the organisation of individual courses, examinations, administration and service, infrastructure, individual persons etc.|
Disabled or chronically ill students
|Member of staff responsible for disability issues||At TU Darmstadt there is a member of staff responsible for disability issues who ensures that the particular needs of disabled and chronically ill students are taken into consideration across all areas of the university – structural and technical measures, the teaching and learning experience, counselling and advice. This person provides assistance and support in resolving key issues (including modifications to the degree programme and examinations, accessibility to university buildings).|
