By the end of the 2nd semester, a minimum of 20 CP must be achieved.

Thesis Requirements: at least 120 CP, successful completion of all modules of area A “ Mathematical-scientific basic subjects”.
Workload: 360 hours

Note

The B.Sc. Angewandte Geowissenschaften degree programme was closed on 31.03.2026. Registration for a first or higher regular semester is no longer possible. Re-registration for the closed degree programme can take place for the last time in the summer semester 2029. This also applies to part-time students. The modules/lectures offered on this degree programme will be gradually phased out by the end of the summer semester 2028 in accordance with the (full-time) study and examination plan with the respective regular semester. In the winter semester 2028/29 and summer semester 2029, only the examination programme will be maintained.
