Good to know

Part-time studies are not distance learning. The Technical University of Darmstadt is not a distance learning university. There are no separate courses for part-time students. Our part-time programme is a time-stretched, more flexible full-time degree programme.

Please note as well that there are different language requirements depending on the degree programme. Please visit International Admissions for further information.

To apply for part-time studies at the Technical University of Darmstadt you must first enroll in the full-time degree programme, which you would like to study part-time. Afterwards you can apply for part-time studies. Please note not all degree programmes can be studied part-time. Please check in advance whether part-time studies are available for your degree programme.

For information regarding the general admission procedure visit Sudierendenservice or International Admissions for international degree-seeking students.

We will be happy to advise you on all questions concerning part-time studies and the compatibility of studies with your individual situation. However, some questions are better answered by other service facilities of the Technical University of Darmstadt. These include detailed questions about entrance qualification, the application procedure and questions about your choice of studies.
